God of War III is an action-adventure video game released (as the fifth God of War game) by Sony Computer Entertainment's Santa Monica division for the PlayStation 3 in March 2010.
Loosely based on Greek mythology, the game focuses on protagonist Kratos, and forms part of a saga (the sixth chapter in the God of War series) with vengeance as a central theme. Kratos and his initial allies, the Titans, storm Mount Olympus in an attempt to kill Zeus and the Olympian Gods.

Mount&Blade is a medieval, single-player, open-ended, action role-playing video game for Windows, developed by the Turkish company TaleWorlds, and published by Paradox Interactive.
Its retail version was released on September 16, 2008 in North America, and three days later in Europe. The game originated as an independent project of Armağan Yavuz, founder of TaleWorlds, and his wife, İpek Yavuz. Prior to its retail release, beta versions of the game were published on the developer's website. The game was made available on Steam on November 3, 2008.
Mount&Blade is an action-oriented role-playing game with emphasis on mounted combat. Unlike most other titles of the genre, the game contains no fantasy elements. It does not restrict the player to a certain storyline, but instead presents a sandbox medieval realm named Calradia, in which the player is given the ability to either join one of the five available battling factions, assume the role of an outlaw, or take a neutral side.

Shadow Harvest : Phantom Ops Will be Released

Shadow Harvest : Phantom Ops Will be Released

Shadow Harvest is a highly immersive 3rd-person tactical action game set in the year 2025 on various current and future points of conflict around the globe. The game is in development for PC and XBOX 360. Featuring dual character control, amazingly realistic graphics and a refreshingly different storyline, Shadow Harvest is a completely new interpretation of the tactical-action genre. Being an ISA* agent, the first character, Myra Lee, has a background in espionage and stealth operations, while the other character, Aron Alvarez, is a hard-boiled close combat specialist of US Army’s Delta Force. Both characters are deployed as elite black-ops agents on various hot spots worldwide and behind enemy lines to cooperatively complete covert operations.

To optimally achieve all mission goals, the player needs to combine Myra’s stealth skills, athletic abilities and cleverness with Aron’s blunt open battle approach. In many situations the nail biting about whether to go in hot with guns blazing or to use suppression techniques and alternative paths is up to the player. Thanks to its open level design with multi-paths and optional secondary objectives, Shadow Harvest also offers great replayability

With Myra and Aron having a different style, a totally different approach on combat tactics and (obviously) a different gender, one big focus of the game are the witty yet snorty dialogues between the two agents.

Despite its highly detailled and realistic look, Shadow Harvest does not strive to be a hardcore military sim nor does it want to be just another dual-character-shooter. Featuring real stealth and action-adventure elements, its refreshingly new mix of features allows never before seen possibilities in interactive storytelling and lets the player dive into a highly thrilling storyline in an unforgettable immersive and unique gaming experience.

Battle Slots PC Game Review

Battle Slots PC Game Review
Phantom EFX and 8MonkeyLabs bring something entirely new to the table with the recently released Battle Slots. This is an rpg in every sense, really. There is the overly dramatic (but delightfully so) hero who finds an ancient weapon and, of course, immediately sets off to save the world. Your hero does all the usual things. There is a map of various destinations to visit, and new roads open up as you advance in the game. By visiting the tavern, your hero learns about new quests and side quests that are available to him (and are marked on the map with exclamation points). As the brave hero sets off on various roads, random monsters pop up and you are given the choice to flee or fight.

Like any respectable rpg, you must gather gold and experience points in order to do well on your adventure. Your gold can be spent at the store, but it can also be used donate to places like the zoo or the academy. Donating to a place will upgrade it, and gives your hero and his allies advantages over opponents. Experience will increase your strength, and you’ll also gather runes and symbols along the way that will make your character a worthy champion. You can even equip different attacks (techniques) and runes whenever you like, tailoring your attack style to your environment.
Battle Slots is a fairly respectable rpg, if a bit standard, but where it shines is by bringing in the unexpected aspect of slots. The main issue that most people have with slots games is that they get old rather quickly. Much like real life, you really can’t influence how the reels will spin, and even avid slots fans will get tired of just clicking “spin” after a while. What Battle Slots does is take all attractive elements of slots – the thrill of a good spin and the pure chance of random luck – and embeds them in a game where you actually can control what’s going on. In Battle Slots, you can even tweak how often certain symbols occur in relation to others. This is quite important, as the matches you make spinning the reels earn mana for attacks against your opponents as well as healing spells.
Final Thoughts
Battle Slots is just a great game. It makes slots more interesting by adding a very well-done rpg element, and it makes the rpg stand out from the crowd with its customizable magic slot machine. I recommend it to slots fans, of course, but old school rpg fans will also be pleasantly surprised. I give Battle Slots an 8.5 out of 10, and recommend you give it a try.

Dead Island, Horror Action Adventure Video Game

Dead Island, Horror Action Adventure Video Game
Dead Island is an upcoming open world horror action adventure video game in development by Techland for Microsoft Windows, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 . It is centered on the challenge of survival on a zombie-infested island with a major emphasis on melee combat.

Dead Island will feature open world gameplay, played from a first person perspective, with up to four-player co-operative play. The focus will be on melee combat, incorporating customizable weaponry and RPG elements.
There is an experience system and a skill tree system. There is also a stamina bar, meaning that after a set amount of action with a weapon, the character will need to stop to regain their stamina before continuing to attack. It has also been confirmed that there are "special class" zombies, which are more powerful than the standard enemies.

The names of the four playable characters in Dead Island are Xian Mei (a staff member at the hotel), Logan (a surfer), Sam B (a former rapper) and Purna. All four are in the Hero category. The four characters are immune to the zombie infection.

Dead Island will be published by Deep Silver. The zombies have fully-modelled layers of meat and muscle rendered onto their bodies, meaning they have a multi-layered damage system with real-time injuries. A trailer featuring the transformation of a young girl into a zombie was commented upon by Ben Parfitt of MCV. Parfitt praised the trailer itself, but criticized the online reaction to it, writing "It's a video that uses an image of a dead girl and images of her dying to create an emotional bond with a product."Wired exclaimed, "It may be the best video game trailer I’ve ever seen; gorgeous, well-edited and emotionally engaging." However Wired urged caution, stating that Techland did not make the trailer and that "everyone is hyped up about a short film, not the game itself. "Dead Island was originally stated to be released in 2008, developed by Techland and produced by Adrian Ciszewski but was delayed.
